Canon PowerShot SD780IS - You Will Never Judge A Camera By Its Size Again
The Black Canon PowerShot SD780IS Digital ELPH is one of the slimmest Digital ELPH Canons on the market, but its definitely one of the most powerful and popular ones. It captivates the first-time user with the bold colors and a nice sleek design. Its a very forgiving camera, even if the conditions are not ideal this little gem with its automatic adjusting options sets it all up for you. All you have to do is point and shoot. Lets not forget that in your hands you have an advanced DIGIC 4 Image Processor with an innovative Face Detection features. Its novelty lies in its ability to find and track the faces of moving subjects till the time you're ready to shoot, at which point it gives you perfect focus.
What we really love about the the SD780 IS is its ability to record movies in HD (in addition to the photos of course) in high definition (1280 x 720 pixels). We love the HD experience with the ability to view up to 130 still images at once.
We believe that this digital camera is an excellent choice for beginning to intermediate photographers who want to capture those key moments in life forever...
Canon SD780IS Reviews
Revolutionary! Beautiful and Powerful
Canon SD780 IS is the perfect everyday/travel camera. It weighs a bit over 4 oz. The pictures of this phone do not show you how small the camera is. Its truly amazingly small. It is smaller than my wallet and my iPhone 3G. The new feature that I adore is the 720p video recording HD feature. Canon finally added this to this 2009 Canon Powershot line of cameras. The IS part (image stabilization) for images and/or video works like a charm. The video is much clearer and sharper than the videos I took from the Flip Video MinoHD and the Creative Vado HD.
VIDEO PLAYBACK ON COMPUTERS
If you want to play video back on your computer, you should have a Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz or higher processor on Windows (Vista/XP SP2/XP SP 3) or Core Duo 1.66 GHz or higher processor on Mac OS X (v10.4-v10.5)
Ideally, you should get a 8GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC memory card. Higher resolution images will fill up your 2 or 4GB SD memory card rather quickly.
